For our client K. Dekker Bouw en Infra B.V., we provided the steel structure and steel roof plates for the sustainable and high-quality sports complex ‘Elzenhagen’. By actively collaborating with the client, we adapted the original design to castellated beams, enabling an even larger span to be realized.
Not your average sports hall, it boasts 4 sports halls, an indoor bike parking, dozens of changing rooms, multifunctional spaces, and a catering facility. ‘Elzenhagen’ is the first sports hall in the Netherlands that meets the NOC/NSF rules for hosting international sports tournaments. LED lighting is incorporated in the floor of the main hall so that the lines can be adjusted to the sport being played.
