For our client MedicomZes we provided the steel construction for “New Construction VUmc and Atrium” in Amsterdam.

Start installation after construction period 2022, starting with strengthening the existing basement.

The basement deck is equipped with approximately 18 tons of temporary steel; mainly HEB5000 for the underpinning of the 1st floor floor to be poured. Participated in the concrete construction up to the 6th floor, where the technical shafts are equipped with slatted floors.

A pristine atrium has been constructed between the existing and the new RDC building with trusses of almost 24 meters and compartmentalized 20-meter-long IPE600 columns weighing 8 tons each.

The 6th floor of the new RDC building has a roof structure made of approximately 150 tons of steel, including roof panels and part fire-resistant coating.
